Jana Kramer bio
Jana Kramer gained fame as an actress, singer of country music and songwriter, when she was a character on the television show One Tree Hill. She played Alex for three of its season's final seasons. The series featured her first release as a country artist and helped propel her debut album on the Billboard 200 to the Top 20. Thirty One (2015), the album that followed it in 2015 also made it to in the Top Ten. She finished out the decade with appearances in Dancing with the Stars and in several TV movies alongside an assortment of singles that were not album tracks. It was released in 2021 as The self-doubting Voices. Growing up within Rochester Hills Michigan Jana Rae Kramer grew up on country music and would eventually be pursuing a recording career. However, she started her career acting as an actress, who made her screen debut in the 2002 indie horror film Dead/Undead while still in her teens. After appearing as a guest for All My Children or CSI: NY, Kramer landed Noelle Davenport's recurring role in NBC Friday Night Lights in the show's 2nd season 2007-2008. Kramer would go on to play Portia Ranson in 90210 (2008-2009) as well as Brooke Manning, in Entourage (2009) prior to when she was offered the role of One Tree Hill by the CW as Alex Dupre. Kramer remained with the One Tree Hill team until half way through its final season (2012). Jana Kramer Kramer began her career on One Tree Hill in 2011. Her contract was signed for a record label Elektra Records during this time and dropped the country-rock single "I I Won't Let You Go" during an episode. The track was later featured on her debut album in the middle of 2012. It reached number five in the Billboard Top Country Albums. Focusing on her music career afterward, she did not stop acting. Kramer appeared in movies such as Heart of the Country 2013 and Country Crush 2016 that would be popular with her fan base. Kramer's second album, Thirty One was released on Warner Music Nashville by Kramer in October of 2015. Her album, Thirty One was the Top Five Country Hit I Got the Boy The album, as well as her duet Steven Tyler and Aerosmith performed together helped the album reach number 3 in the Billboard 200 and number 10 on the charts for country albums. Following a two-month run on 23rd Dancing with the Stars season, she finished 4th. The same year, she had a huge adult contemporary hit song called Straight No Chaser's Feels Like Christmas.
