The artist was born on the 26th of November 1987 in Santa Monica California in the United States of America. She is the daughter of her dad Vincenzo and her maternal grandmother Valerie Barba. Her family and she moved from Point Pleasant in New Jersey at the age of 6. In New Jersey, she finished her education in Red Bank Catholic High School. Following her graduation from Catholic University with a Bachelor's in Architecture and a Master's in Architecture, she continued to study at the college. Additionally, she began playing the violin around age four, and was known as the Violin Girl. A result of her musical performances, she became known as Violin Girl. Her neighborhood kids were also taught violin playing by her. She performed Free beginning in 1976 during her audition for the sixth season of American Idol when she was the age of 19. But she was eliminated following reaching 16th position on the show. The singer has performed a variety of songs like 'The Christmas Sing 2009' and 'Out for Blood 2010'.
