She is most well-known for acting as Special Agent Emily Prentiss (CBS crime drama Criminal Minds) In June 2010, it was reported that her character in Criminal Minds would be reduced in the sixth season. The character of Brewster was removed from the show in March 2011. left the series but may return at a later date.
